Cape Coast-based Kastle FM share over 2,000 free nose masks, sanitizers to indigenes

Cape Coast-based commercial multimedia outlet, Kastle FM 90.3MHz in collaboration with the Ghana Police Service and the blessing of Omanhen of Oguaa traditional area has distributed over 1,500 pieces of free nose masks and sanitizers to local residents.

The move which serves as a corporate social responsibility of Kastle FM 90.3MHz was solely financed by the radio station to help curtail the spread of Covid-19 among the indigenes in the Cape Coast metropolis.
The President in his recent address on Covid-19 updates in Ghana and measures being undertaken has tasked the Police Service to strictly enforce the wearing of nose masks and also advised citizens not to fall foul to this simple directive.
The hike in Covid-19 positive cases has suddenly increased tremendously as most radio and television stations continue to educate the masses on the need to abide by the safety protocols and stay healthy and this gesture by Kastle FM 90.3MHz will go along way to support the fight against coronavirus.
It is worthy to note that Kastle FM 90.3MHz situated in the ancient capital of Gold Coast started official operation in September 2020. They were recently awarded as Start-up Superstar at the Osabarimba Royal Awards 2020.
