20 learners of Salaga SHS arrested with 17 of them bailed and three to go to court

The fight among the learners in the Salaga SHS at the East Gonja of Savannah region, resulted in life-threatening multiple stabbings of one, began on February 1, 2025, between two day students during an entertainment session.

20 learners were arrested with 17 of them bailed and three to go to court, due to level of illegality, such as gun and ammunition, others.

A seven-member committee has been asformed to investigate the issue, with findings to include the cause of the clash and recommendations for preventing such occurrences going forward.

Peace has been restored, school activities must go on.
