JoyNews’ Latif Iddrisu Bamba said Madam Dapaah was under cross-examination by the lawyer representing the second accused, identified only as Sarah.”
“As the proceedings continued, Sarah became visibly emotional and, towards the end of the day’s session, broke down in tears.”
“She interrupted the proceedings to confront the former minister over a point of evidence involving jewelry boxes. According to Sarah, the boxes in question belonged to her, not Dapaah, despite the minister’s claims of ownership.”
On her first appearance at the Court on Tuesday, March 11, the former Minister claimed that her former housemaids stole her jewellery, valued at $53,000.
On the same day, she claimed that the accused individuals made off with $410,000, €300,000, and GHȼ350,000 (equivalent to approximately $30,000) from her storage room.
