The only song Kuami Eugene stole was in Togo which had some similarities – Ball J alleges
A Ghana-based Nigerian artiste, Oduma Essan, has reportedly sued Kuami Eugene for GH¢120,000 for allegedly plagiarizing his song titled ‘Show Body’.
Earlier reports indicated that the singer is claiming part ownership of Kuami Eugene’s ‘Show Body’ hit song featuring Falz which was released on his ‘Son of Africa’ album.
In an interview with Ghanaian artiste, Ball J known in real life as Albert Serebo Ayeh-Hanson, he was asked of his opinion about the song theft allegation levelled against Kuami Eugene.
“If Kuami Eugene has stolen a song then they need to mention so that I verify it myself,” Ball J disclosed to Amansan Krakye.
“The only one I heard he stole was I think in Togo which it had some similarities,” he said on the Kastle Entertainment Show.
“But behind closed doors we don’t know what happened whether they’ve gone to meet the artiste to do his version no one can tell,” he ended on Kastle FM in Cape Coast.
