Ex-musicians don’t race for MUSIGA, GHAMRO position to enrich ourselves – Diana Hopeson

Former President of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), Diana Hopeson has cautioned young artistes in the music industry not to insult those in leadership positions.

The legendary gospel musician made this statement in response to Highlife artiste, Dada Hafco’s accusations that veteran musicians take positions in the industry to enrich themselves.

“As a young person you can’t just say all the leaders aren’t fit so they should be disposed from office it’s not done like that,” she fumed.

She told Amansan Krakye “Don’t use insults to express your displeasure, sometimes you see a young person insulting the elderly ones which is not the best.

“The problems in the industry aren’t someone’s fault it’s long overdue but we need patience to be able to solve all the challenges in the music industry,” she added on Kastle FM in Cape Coast.
