Omanhen of Elmina organizes a clean-up exercise ahead of his birthday celebration

The Omanhen of Edina Traditional Area, Nana Kodwo Conduah VI, has organized a clean-up exercise in Elmina ahead of his birthday celebration on 14th November, 2021.

He was joined by the Central Regional Minister, Hon. Mrs Justina Marigold Assan, the Municipal Chief Executive of the Komenda Edina Eguafo Abirem (KEEA), Hon. Solomon Ebo Appiah and the good people of Elmina.

The Minister used the occasion to appeal to the Omanhen and the MCE to collaboratively adopt a regular monthly clean-up exercise to keep the environment clean.

“Nana I would like to humbly appeal that the MCE should collaborate with you so that such clean-up exercise would be organized on a monthly basis to help keep our environment free from filth and diseases.

“I’m also appealing to all of us as individuals to help do our part by ensuring that we keep our surroundings clean and also organize communal labour within our vicinities”.

A Non-Governmental Organization, Solve Incubate Deploy Africa (S.I.D.AF) led by Anthony Agee-kum and the people of Elmina displayed high level of enthusiasm and fully participated in the clean-up exercise.
