Kastle FM’s Amansan Krakye wins Entertainment Program Host again at the 11th Foklex Media Awards

Multiple award-winning broadcast journalist, Amansan Krakye has been awarded as the Entertainment Program Host of the Year in Central Region at the Foklex Media Awards 2022 held on the 30th of April.

The awards ceremony which was organized by the Foklex Media Production seeks to motivate and recognize the hard work of DJs, radio and television presenters and pundits across the country for their sterling performance.

Amansan Krakye who works as a Drive Time Show Host with Kastle 90.3 FM in Cape Coast also won the same award last year and is famously known for his mind-boggling interviews with top celebrities across the country.

Speaking at the National Theatre in Accra, he said “We came from the ancient Capital of Ghana that is Cape Coast so it’s not easy because sometimes as an entertainment program host getting celebrities to interview isn’t easy.

“But we’re doing our best so Cape Coast we’re representing and I’ll thank God and the CEO of Kastle FM, Hon. Ejaku for this brilliant idea and also to my colleagues and listeners,” he added.

He continued, “I will also say a big thank you to the likes of Legendary Rex Omar for always responding to my calls for interview even at odd times including other showbiz personalities”.

Amansan Krakye is a product of the GBC Radio and Television Training School and has attained Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in Non-Governmental Organization Studies and Community Development from the University of Cape Coast.
