E-levy payment failed because of the NDC – AAK MP

Hon. Elvis Morris Donkoh has made has attributed the failure of the E-levy to the minority legislators.

He said NDC MPs are the reason why Ghanaians refused to contribute the E-levy.

Speaking to Nana Kweku Arhin on Kastle 90.3FM’s afternoon political show, Me Man Ho Do on Tuesday, 9th August,2022, he said people really get a lot of money through mobile from their work without any contribution to the government so the E levey was a way to tax them yet NDC made Ghanaians not to pay the levy.

He again stated that the cancelation of the road toll was a good initiative because the areas which has rich people living there do not even have tollbooths and thus burdening the ordinary Ghanaian to pay toll was a huge mistake.

In his conclusion, he urged all Ghanaians not to heed to the NDC’s unpatriotic deeds and rather they should help the Nana Addo government to raise enough revenue to build the nation.
