CK Akunnor would have gotten a better result if Partey and Kudus were present in the first two games -Mohamed Polo

The Former black stars player Mohamed Polo believes the absence of Thomas Partey and Kudus Mohamed in Ghana’s first two games in the world cup qualifiers was a major blow for CK Akunnor.

Both Partey and Kudus were absent from the squad against Ethiopia and South Africa due injuries they picked up at their various clubs.

” I strongly believe that the absence of the duo made it difficult for CK Akunnor”.He did not get the services of Partey and Kudus, because when you have these two players in your team,it gingers the other players to perform better”. Mohamed Polo told Kastle FM.

Thomas Partey scored two goals in the doubleheader against Zimbabwe with Kudus Mohamed scoring one.

The black stars will now face Ethiopia on the 11th of November 2021 and later play South Africa here in Ghana on the 14th of November 2021.
