Ebony prepared ‘rice and kontonmire’ for us when we produced “Poison” – DopeNation reveals
Award winning music group and record producers, DopeNation made up of Twist and B2 who also happens to be the name behind several hit songs in Ghana have shared their fond memories of the late songstress, Ebony.
DopeNation who produced Ebony’s first hit single titled ‘Poison’ said on the Kastle Entertainment Show that the late music diva used to prepare ‘rice and kontonmire’ stew for them whenever she comes to the studio.
“Ebony is that girl who comes to the studio to cook for us to eat,” they told Amansan Krakye on Kastle FM in Cape Coast.
DopeNation said that “The last time we recorded her we went to a program and got served with a lot of sobolo.
“So as Bullet came with Ebony then she had to prepare some rice and kontonmire for us to chop,” they revealed.
Asked about how they produced the monstrous banger for Ebony, DopeNation remarked that they used a makeshift studio and waves plugins to do the production works.
They concluded “We used waves plugins to create Ebony’s song called Poison because at that time we didn’t have a standard studio with modern equipment”.
