In a live interview with Mr. Aaron Essuman on the My Health programme on Kastle 90.3 FM, Dr. Mabel Mabel Amoako Boateng, a surgeon at the Interbeton Teaching Hospital in the Cape Coast Metropolis said that women should go for regular check up.
She stated this categorically with the reason that, this will help medical experts identify if there is cancer in the body. She added that foreign women are more prone to this disease than black women but they the death rate is higher in our part of the world just because the women there are always doing regular check ups.
Dr. Boateng encouraged all women to step into a medical centre at regular intervals to get screened.
