I feel proud to be counted among celebrities who smoke wee in Ghana – Ras Kuuku

Ras Kuuku known in real life as Kojo Kurankye, a Reggae Dancehall artiste, has stated that he feels honoured to be counted among celebrities who smoke marijuana in Ghana.

“I’m very happy that something that has been created by God and if people are mentioning names of those who use it they also mention my name as part of it,” he said in an interview with Amansan Krakye.

According to the ‘Me Mpaebo’ hitmaker who mostly advocates for the legalization of marijuana in Ghana, he doesn’t have any regrets to be counted among musicians who are ‘wee’ smokers.

He added “I’m very elated that when names of murderers, those who beat their wives and criminals are mentioned my name isn’t attached but rather my name is part of artistes who smoke wee in Ghana.

“Have you seen a mad person who has written a good song like Me Mpaebo and if I got mad after smoking wee would I be able to write such a great song if wee is a bad thing,” he explained on the Kastle Drive Show.

“A lot of musicians smoke wee but hide in corners but I’m glad that when names of celebrities are mentioned they include my name so I don’t have any regrets for that at all,” he ended on Cape Coast-based Kastle FM.
