I will turn Central Region to New York

Former Central Regional Youth Organizer of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), and Chief Executive of FedKastle Multimedia operators of Kastle 90.3 Mr. Francis Ejaku Donkoh has stated that he will turn the region around to be like New York.

According to him, Tourism which generates lots of revenue in the region is undermined and given less attention.

Mr. Donkoh disclosed this in an interview today on “Kastle in the Morning” hosted by Mz. Rubby to mark his birthday celebration.

He added that he will introduce Tourism Levy at all four entry points to the Central Region where each entry pays Gh¢ 1.00.

He added that a special account will be opened to save all monies collected with quarterly accounts rendered to the region.

“Central Region is rich and can take care of themselves using its own revenue generation” he noted.

To improve the education and health sectors of the region, he stated that, every worker in the region will have 20 percent of their yearly Net salary added as a bonus to boost the morale of workers in the region.

This he said will attract more people to come work in the region

Mr. Donkoh further indicated he will ban the use of mobile phones during working hours to make workers more disciplined and productive.

“I will ensure that no worker is allowed to use mobile phones while working. See how nurses of late do TikTok while on duty. Are we serious?” he noted.
