“Most of the rappers like TeePhlow and Medikal are doing great but when you listen to Sarkodie you’d realize that he learnt a lot of good vibes from us,” he remarked.

“Sarkodie has been able to brand himself and if you listen to his rap you’ll see that he learnt a lot from the pioneers like Lord Kenya, Obrafour, Akatakyie and the rest,” he added.

Akatakyie’s style of music has been the trend many hiplifers have trended on. They’ve had hits like Ghana mmaa, Agoo, Sinsima, Esi, Odo esisi me, Sie sie obaa no featuring Okyeame Kwame.

“That is why I was expecting the other guys to learn something from Sarkodie but unfortunately you’d realize that they end up rather copying his style of rap and it doesn’t help them at all,” he continued.
