Accra Hearts of Oak have decided to stay in Cape Coast to prepare for Sunday’s Confederation Cup playoff first leg against JS Saoura of Algeria.
The league champions will be facing JS Saoura of Algeria in a two-legged encounter which will see one of the sides progressing to the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.
Accra Hearts of Oak failed to make it to the group stage of the CAF champions league after losing by six goals to two on aggregate in the second round to WAC of Morocco.
The Ghanaian giant had a 1-0 narrow win at home before suffering a humiliating 6-1 defeat in Morocco and will be hoping to make amends in the confederation cup.
Hearts of Oak suffered their first defeat of the league season in Obuasi to Ashanti Gold and will be hoping to put up a better performance for better results on Sunday against JS Saoura.
