Irving Domingo Lorenzo Jr. professionally known as Irv Gotti, was an American record producer and record executive. He co-founded the record label Murder Inc. Records in 1998, which was an imprint of Def Jam Recordings.

The cause of death has not been announced, but the music mogul had battled diabetes-related issues and suffered what was described as a “minor stroke” in early 2024. At the time, Gotti’s representatives said he had changed his diet and had been “successful in making a full recovery”
