Popular Ghanaian musicians, FBS have blamed the lack of censorship for the incessant use of vulgar words and profane lyrics in the songs released nowadays.

“In our time the lyrics that you sing if it contains profane words which isn’t good for the market because someone is paying for it you will be told to remove those lyrics from your song in order to suit the public,” he said.

He continued “But right now they are lacking those things in terms of direction and management and executive producer but the only advantage these days is about promotion of the songs”.

In an exclusive interview on the Kastle Entertainment Show, FBS revealed how musicians were sabotaged in the past which made the promotion of music very difficult in the creative industry.

He added on Cape Coast’s Kastle FM “Nowadays promotion of music has become very easy but in our time there was a lot of sabotage in the way songs were promoted such that when someone is having more money they can sabotage your songs.

“After you have paid for your song to be played someone can pay more than you offered so that your song will not be promoted on radio but rather play that of other people,” he revealed to Amansan Krakye.
