According to George Perry Atta Mensah popularly known as Orkortor Perry, he once chanced on students from a well-known SHS gambling at a game center around 1 o’clock at dawn.
Speaking on Cape Coast-based Kastle FM with Amansan Krakye, Orkortor Perry who is trending on social media for whipping a young boy spoke about indiscipline among the youth.
He narrated “Before the SHS students went on vacation we went to discover where some students have been going to engage in gambling at odd hours.
“We went to meet students from St. Augustine’s College numbering about 67 as at 1am at a game center playing video games and engaging in betting,” he alleged.
“After that they walk along the beach of Bakaano to school around 2 or 3am back to school and so I ask myself what are the school authorities doing to curtail such acts,” he added.
“So if you are a parent in Accra or Kumasi and you have your ward in one of the big schools in Cape Coast, you are doing great disservice to yourself,” he fumed.
