South Africa has officially suspended all American businesses within its territory and halted the export of minerals to the United States.
This comes just days after Donald Trump cut off all US funding to South Africa and USAID aid to the country.
The South African government has categorically made it clear to Trump that America is nothing without Africa’s minerals. If he believes Africans are merely beggars, then he should look elsewhere for minerals, as Africa is tired of the blatant disrespect and disregard from the Western world.
The US makes over $25 billion in profits from South Africa annually. This decision will significantly impact both the American and South African economies.
No African country has ever stood up against the United States like this.
