Stabbed Cape Coast-based artiste, Unruly Grank, finally goes home in a Microphone Casket
The body of the late Cape Coast-based artiste known as Emmanuel Aikins aka Unruly Grank will finally be laid to rest in a microphone casket today, Saturday 1st May, 2021.
The budding musician whose sad event occurred on Sunday 7th February, 2021 at Cape Coast due to a music beef with another artiste was stabbed to death allegedly by a guy known as Bright Ellis aka Shadow.
The late Unruly Grank, 25, started out in the music industry in 2016 and his first breakthrough hit was Jah Know which won best Dancehall song of the year at the Central Music Awards in 2018.
After his murder, Jamaican Dancehall superstar, Popcaan reacted to news of Unruly Grank’s sudden death in an Instagram story and wrote, “Strength to the Cape Coast youths. Rest up @unruly.grank”.
The late Unruly Grank reportedly met and displayed his talent to Popcaan after the Jamaican’s visit to the Cape Coast Castle in January 2020, for the Year of Return.
In an interview with Amansan Krakye on Kastle FM in Cape Coast, Papa Annan who is the Uncle of the late Unruly Grank said those who are making unfounded claims about the death of his nephew will have curses following them.
“If you have relevant information regarding how my nephew was stabbed to death, kindly visit the police station to assist them in their investigation,” he said on Kastle Drive show.
“But those who are going round making baseless and unfounded claims about the death of my nephew will be cursed,” he ended.
