Stop asking me if I’m struggling with my music career – Shaker warns

Ghanaian artiste and producer, Elikplim Yao Atiemo better known by his stage name Shaker has responded to those who ask if he’s struggling with his music career.
Speaking in a one on one exclusive interview with Amansan Krakye, live in the studio of Kastle FM in Cape Coast, Shaker said a lot of his followers expect him to be at a certain level in the music scene.
He remarked “Why would you ask that am I struggling with my music career right now. I think the reason why someone would ask that question is that a lot of my fans expect me to be at a certain level now that they feel I’m not.
“So it’s normal for them to ask why are you not on this level or that level. But I have encountered a lot of situations like this all the time. Sometimes people say as for Shaker nothing happening at his end then I drop madakraa and then it bangs.
He continued “After that they say Shaker is not doing enough then I drop who dey eat and it goes viral. So for me I have heard this complaint over and over again and I’m even tired,” Shaker said on Kastle Entertainment Show.
Shaker who is currently signed to Ghana’s biggest record label, BBnZ Live disclosed that he’s now focused on doing songs for his fanbase rather than competing with others.
He added “I think the dynamics have changed now because i feel now it’s about feed your customers and forget the competition because we all have our fanbase and we know our target market so just keep feeding them.”
