The Executive members of the Ghana National Association of Farmers and Fishermen, led by Greater Accra Regional Chairman Vincent Mensah, paid a courtesy visit to CGI, Mr. Samuel Basintale Amadu, to congratulate him on his appointment and express their support for his vision to advance the Service.
The discussion centered on critical issues such as food security, the illegal smuggling of fertilizer in border communities during farming seasons, the activities of Fulani herdsmen from neighboring countries, and the monitoring of unauthorized fishing vessels in Ghanaian waters.
With the CGI were his two Deputy Comptroller-Generals: Mr. Laud Affrifah, in charge of Operations, and Mr. Philip Peter Andoh, in charge of Legal Affairs, along with DCOI Evelyn Lostu, the Financial Controller.
The meeting goes beyond familiarity to working in consistence to the development of the sectors in which their relevance is linked to.
