Three arrested for unlawful possession of weapons and impersonation

The Bono East Regional Police Command has arrested three suspects for illegal possession of weapons and impersonation.

Police investigations indicate that one of the suspects, Dzahile Kofi Anoumou Delali hired a truck driver to cart his cashew nuts from Fiamah in the Nkoranza District to Jama, near Techiman on a Police escort.

The truck driver however became suspicious when he met Prosper Kwame Boaho, a supposed security supervisor of a non-existent security company, with a pump-action gun at Techiman.

Police were immediately alerted, and the suspect was arrested with the pump-action gun and twenty-two (22) BB live cartridges.A third suspect, Kobina Domale was also arrested for possession of arms at Vziit Cashew Company at Jama near Techiman.
