Former President John Dramani Mahama has appealed to Ghanaians not to entertain the thought of committing suicide due to economic hardships.

Former President John Dramani Mahama has appealed to Ghanaians not to entertain the thought of committing suicide due to economic hardships.

He said although times are tough in Ghana at the moment, suicide is never an answer.

He was commenting on one Kakra who recently electrocuted himself at Kasoa, in the Central Region.

He asked all to keep hopes alive.

“I returned from a trip to the sad news of Kakra who electrocuted himself. Levels of hardship in Ghana are dire; the worst in 3 decades. But suicide is never an answer.

“Even in the darkest night, there’ll come dawn. The sun will rise again. Let’s be each other’s keeper & keep hope alive,” the 2020 Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) tweeted.
