Timo Werner admits his inability to score goals worrying
Chelsea’s Timo Werner admits his inability to score goals is worrying.
For some time now, the forward has failed to score any goal, especially since last year. His attempt to score against lower division side, Luton Town was saved by the keeper as he denied Werner opportunity to bounce back.

However, in a separate interview with Sky Sports, Timo Werner has admitted that his inability to score goals is worrying, but he won’t give up nonetheless.
“I think it was a good win for us, it was a difficult game against a tightly-defended Sheffield. From myself, again, no goal, but it’s good to see I can help the team with other things- so I keep going. It’s a long period in my career not to score, but you have to keep trying and the goals will come. Two assists like today is good, but as a striker, you want to score”.
Playing under a new coach, Thomas Tuchel seems different as he confirms that his new role makes him play better. Although he didn’t compare the two coaches, he seems more pleased with Tuchel’s approach.
“Every manager is different in how they want to play- he gives us lots of ideas, so now I’m a left ten. It’s very good for me and I think the last wins were a good move from the manager.”
