Ghanaian beat-maker, UndaBeat christened Eric Nana Yaw Nkrumah has disclosed why songs released by artistes in the Central Region don’t blow nationwide.
“The way the artistes from Central Region go about their songs they need to upgrade the kind of songs they produce that’s why songs from the region don’t blow,” he opined.
He continued “I do have these discussions with people that the way artistes from Central Region go about their songs even if it will circulate it will just be around and it can’t go beyond the shores of the region”.
Talking to Amansan Krakye on the Kastle Entertainment Show, the Mankessim-born music producer said most of the artistes in Central Region lack indepth songwriting skills.
He added “Sometimes the way they arrange their songs and the kind of lyrics that are used is mostly the same because there are rhymes that they use which is only one way and most of the artistes do the same thing.
“I will urge the artistes from Central Region to also listen to different kinds of songs from Ghana and outside to really shape the kind of music they produce in order for their songs to blow beyond the region,” he ended on Kastle FM in Cape Coast.
