The sacked former member of the NDC, Allotey Jacobs recently called out Sir Sam Jonah, former President of Anglogold Ashanti to create jobs for the youth in the country and stop hurling criticisms at the ruling government.

Allotey Jacobs attack on the heels of Sir Jonah’s speech to the Rotary Club in Accra in which he bemoaned the country’s enormous debt, joblessness and how government continues to exceed it’s expenditure.

While reacting to Sam Jonah’s posture in a recent interview on Happy FM, Allotey Jacobs asked the Ghanaian billionaire to act like Nigerian business mogul, Aliko Dangote and create jobs for the teeming youth instead of criticizing the government.

This is what the organized body of youths in the Central Region believe is unacceptable for Allotey Jacobs to hurl such insults and offensive remarks at Sir Sam Jonah for his candid opinion concerning certain ills which doesn’t auger well for the development of this country.

They have therefore sent a strong worded message and ultimatum to Allotey Jacobs to unequivocally withdraw his unacceptable response to the well-revered stateman and rather advise the government to do the needful.

“We the youth of Central Region are sending a 24-hour ultimatum to Allotey Jacobs to withdraw his uncouth statement he made to Sir Sam Jonah or face our wrath and hostility in the coming days ahead,” they said.

“What is the worries of Allotey Jacobs and what’s his portfolio within the current government for him to have the effrontery to make such infantile comments about a harmless speech delivered to an association that invited Sir Sam Jonah to an event,” they added.
