I’ve not done much in the music scene to be considered as a breakthrough act – Black Sherif
Emotional singer and songwriter, Mohammed Ismail Sherif aka Black Sherif has said that seeing himself as a mainstream artiste will limit the extra effort that he has been putting into his music craft.
Responding to a question as to whether his hit song titled ‘Money’ is his breakthrough that ushered him into the limelight, Black Sherif said he feels that he hasn’t done much to be considered as a mainstream artiste.
“Generally you’ll see my song money as a breakthrough but me for my perspective if I see it like that it will limit some efforts I have to put into the work,” he said on Kastle FM in Cape Coast.
He added on Kastle Entertainment Show “Because breakthrough we know the meaning like being in the limelight so you just drop songs for people to listen and criticize but me I see myself not at that level yet.
“I have to be able to work more harder because I feel that I haven’t done anything yet so I have to be able to do more get that breakthrough we’re talking about,” Black Sherif told Amansan Krakye.
