Ghanaian musician, Quarme Zaggy has opined that Highlife music is reserved for artistes who are deep minded in songwriting.
In an exclusive interview on the Kastle Entertainment Show, Quarme Zaggy explained that Highlife music comes with content so not every artiste can do it.
“I’m not saying that every artiste from Ghana must do Highlife because that genre of music is not for everybody,” he said on Kastle FM in Cape Coast.
He told the host “Highlife music is something that comes with a content and not every musician that can do such type of music.
“If you are not deep enough you can’t do it so I’m not saying we should all do Highlife but we must have an agenda to push,” he revealed to Amansan Krakye.
Quarme Zaggy who is currently promoting his song ‘Ehye Wo Bo’ on his Mr Lova E.P has called for a national agenda to push Highlife music in Ghana.
