Being decently fashionable as a gospel artiste isn’t against Christian doctrines – MOG Music

Multiple award-winning gospel musician, MOG Music real name Nana Yaw Boakye has said in an interview with Amansan Krakye that he doesn’t have any problem with gospel artistes who are decently fashionable.

“As long as my looks doesn’t make anyone go into temptation or doesn’t become a hindrance to someone I don’t have any problem with it,” he fumed.

“I won’t rather open my chest for people to see my six pack showing or lowering my shorts for people to see my boxers or maybe the females showing part of their nakedness,” he revealed.

He remarked “So far as that doesn’t come in I don’t have a problem if the person is dressed decent because the Bible says the lord bless in the beauty of His holiness”.

Talking on the Kastle Drive show via Cape Coast-based Kastle FM, MOG Music disclosed that so far as gospel artistes don’t show their nakedness, he absolutely sees nothing wrong with their fashionable outlook.

“So there’s beauty and holiness so it’s not just holiness but there’s beauty attached to it that’s why if a gospel artiste is seen wearing nice wig or make up on stage and using it to praise God I don’t think there’s a problem with that,” he continued.

“Me too with my fully grown beard if I shape it nice and wear my suit or African wear on stage to sing praises onto God I don’t think there’s anything wrong about it,” he added.

“So those who are not fashion oriented or someone who doesn’t have a taste for good looks might have a problem with it but for me I don’t have a problem with that,” he told the host.
