DopeNation reveals how they compose their songs and why they keep their lyrics simple

‘Zanku’ banger maker, DopeNation has revealed to Amansan Krakye in an exclusive live studio encounter on Kastle FM the reason why they keep their lyrics simple and easy in their hit songs.

“The lyrics of our songs we make sure it’s very simple it’s not about coming to say plenty things at a go,” DopeNation said.

“There is no time to check time on the streets so within a short period we have to be able to summarize all that we want to say in the song,” they continued.

Talking about how they compose their songs as a group on the Kastle Entertainment Show, DopeNation made up of Tony and Michael Boafo said they get inspired mostly by the beats they produce.

They added “With the composition of the songs we start with the beats because sometimes the inspiration starts from the beats.

“So it’s not like one beat alone, you can hear two beats in one song so for the chorus side it’s a different vibe and when it comes to the verses then the beats move to another way,” they ended.
