Election 2020: Special voting has put those against new voters register to shame – Socrate Safo

Ghanaian filmmaker and director, Socrate Safo has made mockery of those who apposed the Electoral Commission’s compilation of the new voters register due to the seeming successful nature of the special voting on 1st December, 2020.

“Some people sworn that the new registration will never happen in Ghana and some even said that they should be castrated should the new voters registration become a reality”, Socrate Safo said on Kastle Drive.

“We got Sammy Gyamfi who sat on television to declare that the new voter registration will never happen but lo and behold we’ve registered and the special voting was very smooth and peaceful”, he added.

Speaking on Cape Coast-based Kastle FM with Amansan Krakye, Socrate Safo applauded the EC for ensuring a peaceful process during the special voting organized for those in the security services, media and staff of the EC.

He continued “Everything was successful in the special voting and this proves that everything is under control. This election since day one that the EC decided to do a new voters register, some people made it look like we’re heading for war.

“All the fake prophecies didn’t come to pass so everyone should be rest assured that everything is under control. This is the same thing that will happen on the 7th of December, everything will be smooth and peaceful”, he concluded.
