Hasaacas ladies beat AS FAR 2-1 to qualify for the finals of the maiden CAF Women’s champions league.

Hasaacas ladies pulled off a remarkable feat to defeat AS FAR of Morocco in the semi finals of the maiden CAF Women’s champions league.

The Ghanaians stunned the Moroccans who made it to the semi finals after coming second in their group.

Attacker Doris Boaduwaa put Hasaacas ladies in an early lead by connecting so well from Perpetual Agyekum’s corner kick,but AS FAR hit back nine minutes later through Najat Badri.

Hasaacas ladies were awarded a penalty on the 64th minutes but failed to capitalize on the opportunity as Perpetual Agyekum missed from the spot.

Midfield sensation Evelyn Badu registered her name on the score sheet once again in the tournament to restore the lead of Hasaacas ladies thirteen minutes to full time to maintain their hopes.

AS FAR of Morocco fired from all angles but were unable to get the equalizer. It ended in a 2-1 victory for Hasaacas ladies who have made it to the finals.

Hasaacas ladies will be facing either Mamelodi Sundowns FC of South Africa who topped group B with seven points or Malabo Kings FC who came second behind Hasaacas ladies in group A.The two teams meet tonight to decide the side to face Hasaacas ladies in the final.
