I CAN’T CONTEST MFANTSEMAN MP BECAUSE OF HER LATE HUSBAND- FRANCIS EJAKU DONKOH

A renewed Ghanaian business mogul and also politician Hon. Francis Ejaku Donkoh has hinted that his ambition to become an MP in Mfantseman is not shelved but will rather wait till the Mfantseman constituency is split into two.

A renewed Ghanaian business mogul and also politician Hon. Francis Ejaku Donkoh has hinted that his ambition to become an MP in Mfantseman is not shelved but will rather wait till the Mfantseman constituency is split into two.
Asked why not contesting the current seat, he stated emphatically that, he cannot contest even if he is given the opportunity because of the respect he has for the late MP who was slain by an unknown man during one of his campaign tours in 2020.
The former MP is reported to have been shot on the Abeadze Dominase–Abeadze Duadzi–Mankessim road by some unknown assailants on his return from a campaign trip.
Due to that tragic incident, the leadership of the New Patriotic Party gave the opportunity to his wife who was a police officer to lead the party in the 2020 election which she won the seat for the party.
Meanwhile speaking about his aspiration to be MP in the constituency, Hon. Francis Ejaku Donkoh stresses the fact that his dreams that is still alive but will do so when the opportunity presents itself in the near future but for now, he will not contest for the seat.
The astute politician has gone through the rank and files of the party and has gained for himself the ability and competency to hold a position in the ruling NPP party which he has been with for a number of years.
He has also gained respect from all ranks and files of the party leadership due to the qualities and competencies he exhibited during his tenure as the central regional youth organizer.
According to Hon. Francis Ejaku Donkoh, the power of women when they gain political power or position cannot be over-emphasized, therefore giving the current MP for the Mfantseman constituency the opportunity is also of importance.
Though he has big dreams for the Mfantseman constituency to better the lives of his people, Hon. Francis Ejaku Donkoh believes the opportunity will present itself when in the near future, the constituency is divided into two.
