I’m not disappointed for not winning any award despite my numerous nominations – Kweku Flick

Kumasi-based Hip Hop artiste, Kweku Flick born Andy Osei Sarfo has revealed that he’s not disappointed that his hit song ‘Money’ didn’t win major awards.

Despite the numerous nominations in major award schemes in Ghana and abroad that Kweku Flick had with his song, he couldn’t win any of the categories.

“I’m not disappointed for not winning any award with my money hit song,” he said in an interview with Amansan Krakye.

“Just as you said, once you’ve realized that I produced a hit song then that’s also my award,” he added on Cape Coast-based Kastle FM’s Entertainment Show.

Earlier this year, Kweku Flick expressed his disappointment at the VGMA board for failing to nominate his song ‘Money’ for the Most Popular Song category.

He continued “What is important is for me to focus and work hard so that next time people won’t doubt as to whether I should be given the award or not it should be solid”.
