WAC humiliates hearts of oak in Morocco..

The Ghana premier league champions,hearts of oak has suffered a humiliating 6-1 defeat to WAC of Morocco in the second leg of the CAF champions league preliminary round.

Hearts of Oak went into the game with a 1-0 aggregate score line after winning narrowly a week ago at the Accra Sports Stadium courtesy Isaac Mensah’s 41st minute goal.

WAC took the lead on the 5th minute through the Tanzanian forward Simon Msuva.

The Moroccan side mounted pressure on hearts of oak resulting in a 4-0 lead in the first half.

WAC was back on the score sheet on the 47th minutes making it 5 before Simon Msuva grabbed his second and making it 6 for the home team.

Hearts of Oak pulled one back courtesy Patrick Razak.

The game ended 6-1 (6-2 on aggregate)in favor of WAC giving them another chance to be in the group stage of this year’s champions league.

Hearts of Oak still have the chance to be in the group stage of the CAF confederation but will have to play in a two legged match in order to book their tickets for me group stages.
