My collabo with Kuami Eugene was a beautiful coincidence – Emelia Brobbey
Ghanaian actress, television presenter and musician, Emelia Brobbey has revealed in an exclusive interview with Amansan Krakye on Kastle FM what made her feature Kuami Eugene on her song ‘Makoma’.
“I will say that featuring Kuami Eugene on my song makoma was a beautiful coincidence. Since I’m speaking in Cape Coast I have to blend my English with a bit of Fante.”
Narrating how she got to collaborate with Kuami Eugene on her trending song ‘Makoma’, Emelia Brobbey said the move begun when they met at an event at the National Theatre in 2019.
“We met at National Theatre in 2019 and by then I had released Fa me kor which made a lot of people to hurl insults at me. So Kuami Eugene said Emelia let’s do a remix of Fa me kor because I don’t see anything wrong with the song.
“But I told him that Prince Bright wanted to do the Fa me kor remix so why don’t we rather do another song instead so that’s what brought my song makoma,” Emelia Brobbey told Amansan Krakye on Kastle Entertainment Show.
