According to the veteran musician who is famously remembered for his hit songs ‘Yebesa’ and ‘Abofra Wisua’, his new music genre has a global appeal to take Ghana to the Grammys.

“In my time I used to do RnB and still I do RnB but now my focus is on global appeal and I want everyone to know that Ghana we have the talent to compete at the international level,” he said.

He added, “So right now the genre that I do is called Electronic Dance Music (EDM) so recently I released a new single and when you hear it you’d think that it was done by a foreign artiste.

“If you’d remember I’m someone well-known for setting trends in those days and I’m the one who started RnB in Ghana,” he told Amansan Krakye on Kastle FM in Cape Coast.

“So right now I’ve moved a step further and I’ve started doing EDM which I believe is something which will carry on later times to come,” he ended on the Kastle Entertainment Show.
