‘Somu Gye’ hitmaker, Dada KD has revealed that he’ll never leave the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to join the National Democratic Congress (NDC) even if things are getting worse.
“Even if NPP and Nana Akufo-Addo aren’t better or things are getting worse, there’s no one who can convince me to move and become a member of the NDC,” he said in an interview with Amansan Krakye.
Responding to whether he’s disappointed by the government’s performance after campaigning heavily for President Akufo-Addo, Dada KD said his affiliation to NPP is for better for worse.
He remarked “Belonging to a political party is like marriage so we take a vow that it is for better for worse till death put us apart.
“Proverbially it is said that when you put your hands into the food of an old woman you have to eat it,” he disclosed on Cape Coast-based Kastle FM.
The astute musician who is a multiple award-winner, has stated some time ago that Ghanaians should support political parties whose policies are beneficial to the country.
