NPP should contact me in case they want to use my new song for campaign – Wutah Kobby

Former member of the legendary defunct veteran music group, Wutah Kobby has revealed his eagerness and readiness to do business with the New Patriotic Party (NPP) by selling his new song titled ‘So far so good’ to the political party ahead of the December 2020 polls.
“I’m ever ready to sit and negotiate with NPP should they request that I give my song So far so good to them to use it for their 2020 campaign. I’m equally ready to perform at any of their campaign rallies whenever they call me.”
In a virtual chit chat with 2020 RTP Awards nominee, Amansan Krakye on Kastle FM 90.3MHz in Cape Coast, Wutah Kobby said that those who say that artistes who affiliate themselves with political parties do so because they  are hungry, those people are also equally hungry.
“My brother who’s not hungry in this country. I’m a musician and if a political party wants to do business with me why would you say it’s because I’m hungry and I’m broke but who’s not hungry. At the end of the day it’s business we’re talking about because we aim to make ends meet”
He said though he didn’t plan to title the song ‘So far so good’ because of the current political atmosphere we find ourselves, he thinks it fits well with the NPP agenda to retain the governance of this country.
“Amansan Krakye you’re the first person telling me that the NPP under former President Kufour used So far so good as their campaign slogan in the lead up to the 2004 general elections. I think So far so good for the NPP since they got elected in 2016.”
