Record producer and sound engineer, B2 of DopeNation fame has told Amansan Krakye in an interview on Kastle FM in Cape Coast that there is no known single formula for producing hit songs in the world over.
During an exclusive interview on the Kastle Entertainment Show, Michael Boafo aka B2 of DopeNation was asked whether there is any formula that helps artistes to produce hit songs.
“Well, there isn’t a formula to getting a song popular but then there’s a way to making sure that you do good music,” he remarked.
“You know at the end of the day if the music is right it’s going to travel far,” he advised.
He added on Kastle FM “It’s not about getting the popular acclaimed song there isn’t a formula like do it this way or that way and you go blow.”
DopeNation are best known for producing hit songs such as Kpuu Kpaa by Shatta Wale, Poison by Ebony Reigns, Forever by Eazzy ft Mr Eazi, Nana Ama by Pappy Kojo, Wow by Joey B ft E.L and the list continues.
“But then there’s a way to ensure that you do proper music and getting it to places where people will hear it,” he told Amansan Krakye.
He ended “Making sure that the song is been heard and as far as you do those things, charlie you will have a hit song.”
