There’s nothing devilish about a Christian wearing wig or make up – Ama Nova fumes

Fast-rising singer and songwriter, Ama Nova known in real life as Mercy Sackey has debunked the erroneous assertion that it is sinful for a Christian to wear hair extension and make up.

Speaking on Kastle FM with Amansan Krakye on the Kastle Entertainment Show, Ama Nova who is often spotted with trendy and colourful wigs was asked whether it’s sinful for a Christian to wear wig and make up.

She answered “I don’t really believe in that because personally I’m a daughter of a Pastor, my late mum was a pastor and in church I lead the choir and sing.

“I don’t think that the wig I wear or make up is supposed to define who I am. I don’t believe that the way you dress should define you because it’s a choice,” she fumed.

Ama Nova told the host “So I don’t honestly believe that when you do make up or dress in a certain way it’s supposed to mean that you’re the devil, no not at all.

“Personality my relationship with God is very solid because I came from a Christian home but maybe you see my hair very colourful,” she added.

“When you get home the way you dressed out does not define who you are. So I think with time people will come to understand,” she ended.
