Those who predicted that we’ll not make it after leaving Lynx have failed – DopeNation

A member of Ghanaian music duo, DopeNation known as B2 born Michael Boafo has said on Kastle FM in an interview with Amansan Krakye that those who predicted their downfall following their exit from Lynx Entertainment have failed.

He answered “As you said it was a prediction and predictions either goes left or right so it’s 50-50 but then we have God. Secondly, we have been hardworking.”

Speaking about how they managed to stay in the game despite several predictions that artistes who exit Lynx Entertainment don’t succeed, B2 of DopeNation said exiting a record label doesn’t mean an artiste’s career has come to an end.

He added “Like we said from the unset if you’re an artiste and you’re done working with your record label it doesn’t mean that’s the end of your career. It means that your work with that label is done and you can move on to the next step.

“So with time we’re moving on to the next step and there’s nothing like failure. So are you trying to tell me that if a driver is no more working with his company, he’ll never drive again, if he gets another car he’ll drive right now,” he continued.

DopeNation after parting ways with Richie Mensah’s Lynx Entertainment have gotten 2 nominations in the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA22) as Group of the Year and Hiplife Song of the Year with their hit song “Thank God”.

“So far as music is our work and you’re done with your label, still you can continue to sing. And shout out to the fans for not giving up on DopeNation and we are coming to boss your mind,” he ended on the Kastle Entertainment Show.
