It was pump and pageantry with the display of our tradition at the Cape Coast Jubilee Park as people witnessed one of the most successful events held in recent times by a media outlet.

The day which was part of the commemoration for the annual farmers day celebration drew people from all walks of life to share in the success and hard work of our farmers and listeners.

With the slogan “All you need is your Asanka”, most participants who attended the event were seen visible on the streets of Cape Coast carrying or holding their ‘Asanka’ with much enthusiasm and delight.

They were served with sumptuous Ghanaian indigenous dishes such as Fufu, Banku, Omutuo and Kokonte with their accompaniment free of charge with assorted cocktails from GIHOC Distilleries. There was musical performances by some emerging artistes from Central Region.

Amansan Krakye who happens to be part of the event officials at Kastle FM sampled the views and opinions of some of the participants about the AsankaMu Special event.

Mensima from Nkanfoa said “We have seen this been organized in Accra, little did I know that Kastle FM would also replicate it here in Cape Coast. God richly bless the management of Kastle FM and replenish wherever the money is coming from”
