Collaborating with Patoranking on the ‘Jama’ song was unexpected – Lil Shaker reveals

Ghanaian recording artiste, Elikplim Yao Atiemo popularly known as Lil Shaker has narrated how he was able to team up with Nigerian artiste, Patoranking for their monstrous hit song titled ‘Jama’.

Sharing his thoughts on the Jama song in an exclusive interview with Amansan Krakye on Kastle Entertainment Show, Lil Shaker who now wants to be called Shaker said,

“The funny thing about that Jama song link up was that it wasn’t even Dj MicSmith. My management was working on a project with Lauren Hill and Patoranking was part of the bill.

He added “Our boss and Patoranking had that relationship and we didn’t know he was a fun of me and Kojo Cue. He said he has seen our videos on Trace and that he was a big fun. That’s how I got to link up with Patoranking.”

Shaker revealed that he was not expecting to do a collabo with Patoranking but he delivered to perfection when the opportunity presented itself to the admiration of Nigerian superstar.

He concluded “I was there one day when my boss sent me a song and he said Patoranking wants me to do a verse on it so I said wow that’s ok. When I listened I said this was a crazy song so we did it and the next year he invited us to Nigeria for GidiFest which we went to spoil the place.”

Shaker has collaborated with artistes such as Sarkodie, EL, Raquel, Wanlov the Kubolor, Edem, Gemini and many others. He started his musical career at age 15.
