“Touch it” hitmaker, Dennis Nana Dwamena popularly referred to as KiDi has revealed to Amansan Krakye in an exclusive interview why he sings predominantly in English.
“I do sing most of my songs in English language and most of them I do also interlace the songs with the local language like twi,” he revealed.
KiDi said on Kastle FM in Cape Coast “So that my international fans who are listening to my songs will get to understand that this is what I meant to say in the music”.
KiDi is set to release his new album titled ‘The Golden Boy’ which has 14 songs and he’s currently looking forward to being crowned as the Artiste of the Year at the 2021 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards to be held this weekend.
“So I do mix the languages for both our local and those outside Ghana to be able to sing along my songs in order to reach far so that’s why I sing mostly in English,” he told the host.
