‘Back to the Sender’ hitmaker, Quamina MP born Emmanuel Ato Kwamena Amonoo has told Amansan Krakye in an interview why most musicians do promote their songs with dancing moves on social media.
He remarked “I think it’s good for promotion cos there are some people who see the dance alone and ask what music is being used for such dance moves.
“It makes people want to go and listen to the song so I think all of that is a good strategy for promotion,” he told the host on Kastle FM in Cape Coast.
Most musicians in Ghana have now adopted dancing challenges on the various social media platforms as a way of promoting their songs with Shatta Wale the latest to join the fray with his latest banger titled ‘Shw3’.
Quamina MP added “For instance as we talking right now someone might be listening and be wondering which dance are they talking about and would go and check out for it.
“It will also make the song trend more and that is something which is mostly seen in our promo so it really helps to promote a song with dancing moves on social media platforms,” he concluded.
