Kwame Amonoo Foundation donates nose masks to basic schools in Anomabo
Kwame Amonoo Foundation a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) based in Anomabo in the Mfantseman Municipality of the Central Region has donated nose masks to some selected basic schools.
The nose masks which was presented to schools in the Anomabo Circuit of the Mfantseman Education Directorate was aimed at protecting the students and teachers against coronavirus infection.
Speaking to Cape Coast-based Kastle FM’s Amansan Krakye, Mr. Peter Mensah who presented the items on behalf of the NGO founder, said they deem it fit to ensure that residents of Anomabo do not contract the deadly coronavirus.
Receiving the items on behalf of the Ghana Education Service (GES), Mr. Alex Kojo Appiah said that the generous gesture by the NGO will go a long way to safeguard the schools from the deadly pandemic.
He said “We’re extremely grateful to the Kwame Amonoo Foundation for this kind and benevolent gesture towards students and teachers to ensure we win the fight against the spread of coronavirus”.
