Leaders will always come and go but the citizens are the kingmaker’s – Sonni Balli

The enthusiasm and determination by the major political parties to win the 2020 December 7 polls seems to have subsided a bit following the death of Former President Jerry John Rawlings.

With many Ghanaians mourning the sudden demise of the First President of the Fourth Republic, veteran musician, Sonni Balli has reminded the citizens that leaders will always come and go.

Sonny Kwabena Amoako Akoanor known in showbiz as Sonni Balli has disclosed to Amansan Krakye that the citizens of Ghana are the kingmaker’s going into the election so they must not be deceived by self-seeking leaders.

“What I want to tell Ghanaians is that elections are fast approaching and it is said that leaders come and go but the citizens who are the kingmaker’s will continue to be there”, he said via Kastle Drive on Cape Coast-based Kastle FM.

He added: “So let’s unite and avoid any form of electoral violence which would make people run helter skelter. We should leave in solidarity and make sure that we continue to live as a united country called Ghana.”
