NGO donates several items to support clean-up exercise organized in Edina Traditional Area

A not-for-profit organization based in Elmina in the Central Region of Ghana, Solve Incubate Deploy Africa (S.I.D.AF) has massively donated several items to support the clean-up exercise in the area.

The clean-up exercise was organized by the Omanhen of Edina Traditional Area Nana Kodwo Conduah VI as part of activities to mark his upcoming birthday celebration on the 14th of November, 2021.

The Non-Governmental Organization, S.I.D.AF supported the initiative by donating items such as wheelbarrows, rakes, cutlasses, long brooms, wallington boots, drinks, water and cash.

The presentation served as a way of fostering long-lasting partnership with the traditional authority in the area to clean-up the environment in order to boost tourism and increase economic activities.

The Programmes Manager of S.I.D.AF, Anthony Agee-kum took the opportunity to educate the chiefs and people of Elmina about the modus operandi of the NGO and the benefits the indigenes stand to attain from tourism.

“Nana we wish to show our unflinching support for your clean-up exercise initiative by donating these items as a token towards your birthday celebration,” he remarked.
